Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad was born in Rabwah, Pakistan, which was the headquarters of the Ahmadiyya at the time. He is a great-grandson of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad. Mirza Masroor Ahmad completed his primary education at Taleemul Islam High School, Rabwah, and obtained his BA from Taleemul Islam College, Rabwah. In 1976 Ahmad earned his Master of Science degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, Pakistan.
